Hiding mode on status bar

Hi there, does anyone know if I can remove the little icon on the top status bar showing what mode I am in. The little star looks a little weird and I dont really want it there. Is there any way that I can turn this off please?

Download good lock, then quick star. In visibility of indicator icons, turn modes off
