Navigation bar block / One UI 6.1

I was so excited to get the One UI 6.1 update with all the new AI features, only to discover a giant navigation bar block atrocity at the bottom of my screen. 

I do not appreciate the bottom chunk on my screen being cut by this stupidity. What an ***** concept. 

I have scoured through the Internet and Samsung Members looking for a solution of how to get rid of it. I tried the goodlock as well. I have also contacted Samsung Support. None of the above had a solution. 

For reference i have an s23 ultra. Apparently s24 series has an option to hide it but not s23 series. 

Further, due to all of this screen rescaling everything lags and wobbles. The phone's response time slowed down considerably. 

These seem to be issues for the majority of people on here. I am therefore awaiting a further update fixing these, but most importantly getting rid of that ridiculous block at the bottom of my screen.

I have exactly the same irritating issue on my S23 Ultra.  Hope they fix it soon🤦

This is the smallest you can do. And the lightest colour. I hate it and want nothing there like I used to have. It's trash to use.

The problem with this solution is: Key presses at the bottom of the screen (like activating the keyboard for a whatsapp chatt, or any other shortcut that comes up at the bottom, requites several screen touches before it registeres.  This is really, really annoying.  How does beta testers not identity obvious issues like this?

Basically you need to use navstar to enable gesture options and it brings back previous 3 bar swipe up options.

Unfortunately, the option to hide the gesture hint doesn't appear on the S23 Ultra.

On another note, NavStar updated for me today and I can now make the Gesture Hint transparent. It's not the ideal solution but it restores the space that was occupied by the black bar.

The issue is that I used gestures to begin with, so I still want to use gestures. I only managed to make the black block transparent, therefore I still have the issue of arrows and the bottom of my screen doesn't work, same thing happens when I rotate it. It creates further issues such as not being able to check out on amazon etc.
