Some issues with the interface of Android 15 UI 7

1) Where did my flashlight, screen orientation setting and other buttons from the top-swipedown go?

2) The navigation bar seems to be stuck in an always-on-top mode, and interferes with the navigation bar of Fanfiction.net, overlapping it even in the full screen mode. Not sure if that's an app thing or an android thing.

3) Someone ought to tell the makers of the Weather app that there is such a thing as setting your button background to 'transparent'. My dark blue background now has a very ugly oval light blue button which irritates me enough that I'm temped to find a way to delete the entire thing.

4) Not a fan of the new app buttons. I'd reverse them to the old ones if I could.

Good morning buddy!.....1. your tabs at the top can be simply rearranged by holding your finger on it then dragging and dropping wherever you want it...the rest I don't understand what you mean. Sorry I couldn't help more but I hope I helped a little

Do you even have the latest update? At of UI7, which was installed yesterday for me, the icons are no longer there. When you drag down from the top, nothing appears, only the date and time and the message 'no notifications'.

Number 1. Swipe down from the right till you see the pen icon at the top. Click on the pen icon then click panel settings then select together.
Number 3. Long press on the weather widget to access settings then toggle of background.

I'd like to point out that I'm definitely not buddy-buddy with anyone but my husband, dear.

Other than that, there's definitely been a change with the top icons. It used to be that you could swipe anywhere from the top. As you insisted the function is still there, I tried swiping from the (fairly small) area with the mobile network/wifi/battery icons. And then it worked, so you're right in that. It is, however, annoying in that it is now a much smaller area. Or at least that is how it feels to me.

The other issues still stand. I made a bugticket to the makers of the Fanfiction app, like I said, maybe it's on their end. As to the weather app: that's just a nuisance. Being a graphics localizer (amongst other things), I am 100% certain that you can set background colors to transparent, so they match whatever background they are placed in. If you do not, it's either a mistake or a choice. And if it's a choice, it's a very annoying one, as it clashes most awfully.

Either way, I'm off the forums now. There's this blaster map application that needs work...

90% of what your complaining about can be changed in the settings....but judging from your response your clearly here more to vent then actually get help so I'll leave you to enjoy that...best of luck with everything.

Use Goodlock and QuickStar app and with latter change the ratio between notifications and quick panel. Or change to how it was and combine the two

The thing is smallet because they have separated notifications and the quick panel (like an iphone has it 🙄) You need to swipe down from the right until you can see the pencil icon at the top. Click it and then click panel settings and then select together, it will go back to how it was.

As for the weather app icon you can use the goodlock app to customize the colour of the application icon. If you do not have it then you need to search for good lock in the samsung store and download it, once open download the theme park addon and then go to icons and then click create new. Then click the 3 dots at the top right of the screen and click change icons find the weather app icon and click on it and then click edit icon. Then change it to how you would like it to be.

The 'show when screen is off option' has gone for notications. Is there a way to see notifications when screen is off now
