hi mates! I’ve been using a base model s23 for around one year and the battery life’s never been good. I have routines that limit the charge overnight until I wake up and I also use it on power saving all the time with exceptions (when i need to see an email immediately). It’s always discharged and I don’t know what to do. I also have the performance profile set to light. I’m gonna attach a photo with the graph. Is there any way to limit the performance further?Screenshot_20240818_182014_Device care.jpegScreenshot_20240818_182222_Gallery.jpeg

Also, just a complaint I have, why are there soo many icons in the status bar.

Thanks in advance!

Quickstar from the good lock app will help you with icons in the status bar. As for battery saving tips, some great videos on you tube that can help. Have you tried the performance on standard? I also have set up some routines my self for evening and night.

well the light mode is supposed to limit performance, i never used my phone on standard. I kind of don’t want to mess with those sketchy apps, its not a big issue, just something that is unaesthetic. Thanks for the suggestions! All of the youtube videos only mention the things I already did, such as disabling 120hz, power saving on maximum, I just wondered if there was something extra that i could do to maybe limit it further so i have more battery.

@TheCharity Do you have some apps which are not used regularly in Sleep Mode? Will save some Battery life if connections like Bluetooth,Wi-fi,NFC only turned on when needed. some suggest using Dark Mode at certain times, not a fan of this being on constantly though. Ideally you want a mix of the best experience/Battery life. if noticed a deterioration after update an idea to wipe the cache partition (recommended practice after software updates) A thread here, whilst was referring to the S24 still relevant though do not agree with everything the original poster said. https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/galaxy-s24-series/maximizing-battery-life-tips-for-samsung-users...

I have dark mode always on. I use NFC for payments so thats not going and bluetooth for my galaxy watch. I can give out on 120hz and performance, but not on basic functionality like this. I will wipe my cache partition (i did it many times before), I don’t get why samsung doesnt do this automatically after every update but sure. Thanks for the advice!

Hello!

67% for 4,5 hours of turned on screen - is great if we add 13,5 hours unactive time and you still have 33% that give you additional ~2 hours of screen time.

You wanna too much from modern top-tier phones - 6-7 hours of screen time in 1 day when you charging phone on the morning and in the evening when get back home...

You can turning off some icons in status bar using Good Lock + QuickStart module - it's official Samsung app for customization OneUI.
