I accidentally pushed the sim eject tool pin in to the mic whilst i was about to remove the sim. Hope this hasn't damaged the mic,??? I don't why Samsung have designed it this way, the sim slot should not be near the mic, it can be confusing!

It shouldnt have done any damage, I did the same thing when I got my s21 ultra 😂. Too eager to set it up. But it's not that easy to damage the mic.

@Raaj77: Hopefully you should be fine, however if you are concerned about the mic then I recommend heading to the Samsung Members app > Press and hold on the app icon > Diagnostics > Phone diagnostics > Mic, and follow the on-screen instructions. Can you hear yourself clearly during the playback for each mic?

Hi, yes ive done that, seems to be working fine, made a few calls and no issues - i think Samsung know of this and have made sure its well protected in case ppl insert the pin

Yes think it should be fine  as the mic is pretty robust, think you would need to apply force to risk damaging  it.  As long as the sound seems the same.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

The microphone sensor is off set inside the phone. So pushing the ejection tool in there won't damage anything
So you will be fine
