1st Microphone doesn't work

When I call with my s23 someone with my s23+ the microphone registers quite no sound. I've tested the microphone at *#0*# and microphone 2 and 3 work while 1stMic doesn't loop back. Funny fact, if I blow on the mic-hole I can clearly hear the wind.

How can I fix it? The mic-hole looks clean but I don't know how to clean it inside (if I need to)

Hi and welcome to the community! Does the mic work OK with the voice recorder app? Whereabouts on the phone is the mic you are concerned about? I believe the mic on the back near the camera lens is used for noise cancellation

The microphone on the back of a Samsung Galaxy S23 is primarily used to improve audio quality when recording videos, especially in "Pro Video" mode. It allows you to capture sound from both the front and back of the phone, creating a more immersive sound experience depending on the direction you choose to focus on; essentially acting as a directional microphone to pick up sounds from behind the phone.

I would suggest personally testing this. Also, go to the Samsung Members app and run diagnostics. If it still fails or doesn't work as described above, it may be worth contacting Samsung support.

I tried to record my voice but when I listen to it again the sound is very low. The microphone is the low one.

Also with the members app the result is the same

I would suggest picking up a cheap compressed can of air and spraying the microphone out. If this doesn't work, it may be worth contacting Samsung support.
