I think it's not recommended having anti-virus installed on your phone. As you have all the security features built in your phone such as Samsung Knox. If you enable auto blocker, that should keep your phone safe by blocking threats and suspicious activities. Also, make sure that your apps and software are up to date. Only install apps from official stores from the Play Store and Galaxy store.
If you already have 2, why waste the performance of a third? Plus their not really any use unless you decide to install sidelooaded apps and even then, their not too helpful
The samsung one is in settings, device care, app protection. The reason why it's kinda a misconception that android virus scanners work is that android is very different to Windows. An android virus scanner at best can give you a popup saying to uninstall an app. It can't detect unusual activity and they usually just check for app names and compare that to a database. So their more of a false sense of security. Jeep it if you want, though it won't do much
They don't really add protection is the issue. On windows, they scan every file, monitor program activity and do all sorts of stuff. On android they can't, they can check what apps are installed and scan your files for malicious apk files. Their so limited by android itself that they really can't do much. Plus if they do find a malicious app, their not allowed to do anything other than warn and ask you to delete it
Well on Windows, yes it's totally different. Having app protection switched on will vary from people. I personally have both switched on. Since I enabled Auto blocker. I do agree with having an added protection is good in my opinion.
