Google autofill not working since update

Since I updated last week autofill passwords no longer works! 

I use Google Chrome across all of my devices and it's only my S23 that it has stopped working for. I have attached screenshots of what I can see when on a website which I have a saved password but I am unable to click on either of the autofill options! Nothing happens at all.

I have tried all of the suggestions I've seen on similar posts - Google is set as my preferred service, cleared cache, restarted (it worked once after that but stopped again). I tried swapping to samsung pass then back to Google but still nothing.

Please can someone help

So I've been at this for hours now, tried all previous suggestions, cache cleared hard reset, passwords synced, am I missing something here? It will not let me toggle and the continue button does nothing 1728315544914.jpg

So I fiddled with this and found out the following.  Samsung's password manager got set as the default.  To switch back to google i went to:

settings->Security and Privacy->More Privacy settings 

Then under the google section click Autofill service from Google

Then select the slider that says use autofill with google.

That fixed it for me
