Cashback Promotion Claim Declined

Hello All,

Opia who runs the Cashback promotions on behalf of Samsung has declined both my claims saying they were unable to validate my purchase, even after sending them original copies of my invoices. Not much help from the supervisors as they keep saying their back office team were unable to validate the purchases. Has anyone had any experience of this and how to sort out as not getting much help from team at Opia. Tried ringing Samsung, they are even worse and keep asking me to ring Opia back.

I claimed the £200 cashback in regards to my purchase of the Samsung Galaxy s²³ Ultra with no issues.

I purchased directly from Samsung UK.. 

Did you purchase your phone directly from Samsung @Fromglos or a participating retailers.

Thanks for the reply @BandOfBrothers. No it was from Currys. However Currys told they were not contacted by Sasmung promotions team to validate the purchase.

Yes, Currys were part of the promotion and hence I bought it from them. Number you provided doesn't seem to be working. I used 0330 054 5562 to contact them.

I also claimed cashback recently and found my claim was approved almost immediately by text message from Samsung.

I purchased direct from Samsung as well as @BandOfBrothers.

I haven't received any funds yet... but expect with them being approved there shouldn't be any problem for my claim.

Strange that your invoice evidence from currys isn't good enough for their validation.

Yes mine was approved almost immediately, but 2 days layer they sent me an email saying they were unable to validate the purchase. Seems strange. Thanks.

I only spoke to the team that are looking at my claim using the number 03300545562.

No idea what this Samsung Promotions team are and how I contact them.

Did you ever manage to get the claim? They've rejected mine too. I purchased from Appliances Direct, who are also on the list of participating retailers. No way to ask what the problem was so is very frustrating.
