Battery drain after One UI 6.1 update S23 Ultra

I'm experiencing a huge change in battery behaviour in my S23 Ultra after the One UI 6.1 update!

It's terrible! The battery life was excellent before the update, now - the phone barely survives a day, I have to charge it up during a day, it never happened before.

This has to be related to the update. I hope Samsung will fix this ASAP as this really cripples the phone!

If the fix won't happen, and some rumors turn out to be true (Samsung trying to push users to get a new gen phone) it'll be my last Samsung phone! I've paid so much money for the highest model only to have my battery life cut almost in half by a software update one year after! Insane.

I'm experiencing worst battery backup after upgrading to OneUI 6.1 with my S23 Ultra. I have used with OneUI 6.0 for around a year and I better know about battery optimization but after using the new OS I can definitely say this huge battery problem was only due to upgrade of OS. Samsung Officials are not accepting the fault regarding issue in their new OS rather they are addressing the fault in our usage and settings. Hope Samsung Officials should get their fault and push new update fixing this issue as soon as possible.

S23fe SD Canadian edition. UI 6.1 drains the battery. More than twice as fast from normal usage with 5.1 or u 6. And hot, yes I feel the heat as it is idle in my pants pocket.

Same issue on s24 ultra, no heating, but battery is definitely draining much faster, 100% dropped to 6% in 10 hours or normal use.

I don't know if it's fix or not but here's what I did.

1. Turned off battery protection. Was still hot and draining fast.

2. Ran 1Tap Cleaner to clear apps' caches. Free from play store. Clears app caches but not system caches.

3. Wired fast charge to 100%.

Ran a 20 min video on S23fe (with UI6.1, the problem) and at the same time ran the same video on Tab S8 (with UI 6.) Same SOC and ram, same wifi. The Tab S8 used 3% (7760 mAh battery) and the S23fe used 4% (4500 mAh) without getting hot. It isn't draining the battery like earlier.

Not sure but I know it's not hot any more. It's been constantly on for last 45 minutes.

Been playing now for two hours. Tablet down 19% and phone is down 22%. Phone isn't hot like before.

I have deactivated all AI features under "Settings - Advanced Features -  Advanced Intelligence", and that actually seem to have fixed the problem on my Galaxy Fold 5.

I'm having the exact same issue on my S24 Ultra. Battery barely lasts till the end of a working day, phone gets hot while just beind in my pocket. Before this update it would easily last all day and would never get hot. Does anyone know how to downgrade to a previous firmware?

S23+ user here. I'm also experiencing battery drain in my device. The battery last a whole day before the update but now, I need to charge my device twice a day. Samsung needs to fix this
