Access Issues - new S23 FE

I've just bought a new S23 FE but can't access it. The phone is asking for a password but none has been provided and the Samsumg default doesn't work. 

I'm not able to either restart or switch off the phone because both options require a password to be entered.

The phone is brand new from a high street retailer rather than reconditioned / second hand.

Please help!

Hi there

Default password is usually either 0000 or 1234.

If they don't work and you haven't set up a password yourself, then check the paperwork that would have been given to you / emailed to you by the new network in case they used a different password.

None of that work? Take it back.

Hiya j would take it back were you purchest the phone. And aske them to sort it out. Now is phone locked or is it sim lock. If it's phone locked I can't see it beeing new it must be secound hand.if that's the case. They should of cleared the phone in other wards the phone should of been factory rest.before it was put up for sale.i hope this helps you out
