Wife's S24fe was absolutely fine on 6.1 , never an issue !! Updated Thursday night to ui7 , everything seemed ok until this morning when she tried to get in to her phone , screen didn't respond, phone frozen , power key did Gemini instead of power menu !! Luckily I found a post on Reddit to hold power n volume to access power menu otherwise the phone would be still sat there frozen !!! I'm still having issues on my S24+ with ui7 that I didn't with 6.1 , tbh this update has been rubbish !

Yeah you're not alone—UI 7 has been rough for a lot of people lately. It’s wild that something as simple as accessing the power menu now needs Reddit-level fixes. Glad you found that workaround though!
Honestly, the update feels rushed. From freezing issues to power key bugs and just overall instability—it’s a step back from 6.1. Hoping Samsung pushes a stability patch ASAP, ‘cause way too many people are having issues across different S24 models.
For now, keep an eye on battery usage and maybe clear cache partition just in case—sometimes helps with random system bugs
