Same issue here!! Regular s22. This is ridiculous. I'm thinking to return this phone.
My 4 years old Motorola works much better than this "flagship"...

Honestly I never post in these forums usually but had to add to the frustration!.
My youtube app along with other media apps are atrociously laggy. To the point that I would actually consider returning this phone.
How can they continue to leave this broken for so many people on their expensive flagship. It's so dissapointing.
Youtube in particular is like like an old streaming service sometimes that can't keep up. Terrible samsung. I fear they aren't going to actually fix this.

I'm having the exact same problem... Just bought the phone last week. I gave some time to properly update everything.
But the problem still persists. When starting, fast forwarding or rewind a YouTube video the audio start playing but the video doesn't for a couple of seconds.
This is really annoying for a top phone from a top brand as Samsung.
Never had this issue with my previous S9+ way older than this phone.
Unacceptable for a phone at this price.. Any comments from Samsung?

I had the same issue but have sorted, open up YouTube settings and go to quality and set it manually to high (or low if you prefer) it loads and fast forwards instantly now.

I tried that, but I still have the same problem. It only worked for the first video I watched.
But I never had this same issue with my previous phone an S9+ (until last week when I switched to the S22 Ultra),... way older!
For what this phone costs, and given it is the flagship for Samsung right now, I think it's amazing that they didn't fix it or mentioned it... I kind of understand now why I see now so many discounts and promotions....
