Okay say I had same issue until I found the problem.
It's is the audio codec scaleable enabled so turn it off.
Go to settings, about phone, tapp build until developer mode comes on.
Then in developer mode scroll down to Bluetooth audio codec
And change it to something you like. I choose AAC.
Now I got no issues and no restarts.
Try and let me know
hope this helps. Let me know

Same issue here on my S22, on youtube, netflix etc. As mentionned by others a reboot fixes the problem but only temporarily (for a couple of minutes / hours). @Samsung Please fix this issue ASAP, it's very Annoying...

Today the issue stopped and I have no idea why, I tried to change processing speed from optimized to high. The problem is gone but I cannot verify this was a solution. When I change back to optimized it does not appear again.
I did not reinstall the YT app or other apps, no cashe cleared. No restarts or updates... Really strange. I hope it does not return but if it does I will let you know.

Hey there,
Same thing just happened to me after setting up and using my galaxy buds pro for the first time. Youtube, netflix and in general all media apps started to lag and the sound was delayed.Probably the buds triggered out some kind of bluetooth issue and the only thing That worked waa rebooting the device! I didint pay 1300 euros for this.... Samsung, do something and do it quick!!! Bad battery, lags and now this... Come on now!!!
