If Samsung insists on selling phones with Exynos processors in UK , will switch to Pixel phones , they even send stability and bug fixes to Snapdragon devices first ,not to the low performance devices.
I am a loyal customer for Note series as I believed that it delivers more quality than the S series and unfortunately I had to buy the S series again this year because they canceled the Note , I bought the S22 Ultra along with the S8 ultra and i regret buying the S22 ,overheqring , low performance and lagging .
My old Note 10 plus is still faster

A lot of ill-feeling here has been caused by Samsung charging customers full retail price to be beta testers for underdeveloped processors in their flagship devices. If you cannot see why people are jumping ship rather than being mugged off then you are wearing rose tinted goggles.

Why would you even think that? The csc in the firmware determines who sends the update. Unlocking a device does not change the CSC. You probably have H3G as your CSC since you experience delays whereas if it were BTU you would get updates on release.

The s21 Fe I received is Snapdragon, it gets warm under (light) use and the battery is worse than my old s8+ it drops to 99% within the first minute of unplugging the charger,
and continues to drop IMO harshly throughout the day with nearly all apps in deep sleep, Bixby routines turning off radios, Bixby routines reverting apps screen refresh rates to 60hz, so it's not exactly without faults either.
It's quite frustrating having to micromanage a new phone and disable advertised feature(s) to try scrape a full day of moderate use out of it, what I would actually consider light use compared to my old s8+

Pixel?

They used cpu exynos based and exynos modem on their pixel 6... And they also had and current have a lot of problems!

Mediatek based Android Smartphone are the best at the moment, imho.

But you don't own a s22 ultra so why are you commenting on the performance of them 🤔🤣

@Knightshift76

All are fine to express their opinion on a phone here as long as the Community Guidelines are not infringed.

Some may form that opinion on other users usage / experiences , and from YouTube and tech blogs.

However owning / using the phone for a length of time allows for a more informed opinion I believe.

Some have had issues and some haven't.

I own the Exynos and have had no issues but some have.

Some own Snapdragon variants and have experienced some issues and some haven't.

It's certainly a conundrum on why this is happening.

Samsung have reacted via software updates in response to users own feedback and some issues have been identified due to Smartswitch.

The caveat on using Android which is open sourced is that some users download incompatible content too sometimes including apk files which can occasionally cause conflict.

Incompatible launchers and themes can cause issues too.

But you are not expressing your opinion, you're saying it as fact.
Like how do YOU know about the "abysmal performance of the s22 ultra" when you've never used one 🙄🤣.
You have been called out by others in this community for your sad trolling.
I personally didn't get the s22 ultra,I went with the s22 base model because I'm not a fan of the note design of the ultra and I wanted a compact phone this time round.
Couldn't be happier with my purchase ☺️
