Update broke my phone

I've previously had an S3, 6, 6+, 8, 10 & now 22 - so this isn't a newbie problem. I can tell this is a Samsung update issue. Since the July update my phone freezes for a few seconds at a time & randomly crashes and reboots multiple times a day, even when not being actively used. It's becoming more frequent & persists even after many troubleshooting attempts: clearing the cache, a factory reset, reflashing the newest firmware again. No physical damage to the phone, not rooted, no drops, no water, it's definitely an issue like I've seen others having on this forum recently.

Does anyone know how to get Samsung to address this issue? I've seen people say they needed to have the motherboard swapped to fix it & some conjecture an update burnt out a circuit in certain phones. My phone was working perfectly a month ago & now I can't rely on it to scroll a webpage.

My phone had the exact same issue, was working perfectly until it randomly started crashing and then getting stuck in boot loops, initially thought it was just a software problem so took it to samsung to have a look and they say I need a new motherboard as it is a hardware fault.

Seen a few posts like this now so clearly a software update somewhere has done something and it sadly seems irreversible due to the hardware damage. Quite disappointed since my S22 Ultra is only 2 and a half years old. Unless Samsung start offering to repair them for free the only options seem to be get it repaired or get a new phone.

It took me at least 5 factory resets over a couple weeks, the last two doing absolutely no restores and setting up apps fresh and finally my phone stopped lagging & randomly resetting.  Not exactly a fix others can do & be sure it'll work, but until a better solution comes along, that might be worth a try to keep factory resetting it.

How long have you been reboot loop free for?

Sometimes I got lucky and it didn't reboot loop for a day and a bit but then my hopes would be shattered and it would do it again.

140 hours of uptime as of right now, so just under 6 days. When I'd factory reset it would seem okay at first, until I got the phone set up and within a few hours it would start resetting, then get more frequent over days. This time was different for some reason as it's not even freezing for a few seconds as I type anymore.

Yeah, your phone is most likely fúcked after the One UI update due to the motherboard issue with the S22 models.

If its still in warranty I would send it off for repair via the Samsung website, otherwise throw the thing in the bin as its effectively useless.

I've been having the exact same issues ever since the security update. My phone is pretty much unusable at this point due to the constant freezing and rebooting.

I've tried all the same things you have (aka the only things Samsung are telling people to do, even after told it doesn't fix the issue). It's absurd that I may have to buy a new phone because Samsung BROKE MINE. Why do I have to pay for a new phone when it was Samsung who destroyed mine???

Little thread revival. My girlfriend updated her 10 month old s22 ultra on Sunday and it killed it. Starts up but as soon as the Samsung logo appears it glitches and gets blank. Can't do anything and we now have the alarm going off every 15 mins all day. Dead screen, no restart and an alarm constantly going off hahahaha luckily it's getting replaced by O2
