My S22 now doesn't see my sim card (which works in other phones, so know this this fine) and i keep getting error messages:
com.android.phone keeps stopping
Samsung members app gives error 'keeps stopping' (so can't open this)
last software update was 19th June (even though auto updates on?)
SIM manager won't open (just blue dots whirring) - and SIM1 now 'unknown'
SIM manager previously was showing SIM2 for my nano sim but I reset network settings to try and remove error on start up which was always saying 'sim not found' - SIM worked after this but on 2nd restart it couldn't see SIM and none of the samsung software seems to work?
I have hard reset and not sure what else to do now, other than factory reset?

Thank you, i'd cleared all the cache's but no joy. Also ran through all the samsung support suggestions, and still not working.

A factory reset is the deepest troubleshooting step you can take so it's definitely worth a shot before engaging with Samsung support https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/repair/ @fmd1

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

I had exactly the same problem word for word with my S22 Ultra (In addition, I had the Airplane icon stuck in a "half blue" mode). After trying everything I possibly could, I was left with no alternative but to reset my phone back to factory settings which enabled the SIM again but the SIM Manager reported No SIM installed. and I had no access to any SIM Manager Settings or Mobile Network Settings, even though I could use the phone (with internet calling disabled I should add). Weird.
It got even more bizarre when I put in my second SIM which was correctly displayed and operated alongside SIM 1. In addition the Mobile Networks option was then accessible for "both" SIMs!! I restarted my phone and voila, both SIM 1 and SIM 2 were populated correctly. I thought I had won...... however when I selected More SIM settings and then returned back to the SIM Manager, SIM 1 had disappeared again!
In addition, whist SIM 2 is active the slider switch is set to "Off". I I attempt to slide it "On" I get an ambiguous message that turning it ON will turn it "OFF"!!!!! So I turned it to the ON position. Nothing happened. I returned it to the "OFF" position. Nothing happened. So I cannot turn off SIM2. Oh and I just received a notification about the weather and SIM 1 has now decided to display itself but only for as long as I exited SIM Manager. I checked again and its performed a houdini all over again.
I used to work with software developers and test software and I have never seen anything so infuriating as this!!
