Solved : S22 ultra looks dull, stutter on scrolling, pixelated web pages

1. Is this because of plastic sheet on phone? Not taking it off pending delivery of screen protector. Compared video of Oled demos across phones. Vibrant on note 8  and faded or pale on s22 ulta. See a screen shot of Google News. See pixelated faces at least on my display. Perhaps looks fine on your phone.

Vivid settings as always, tried cool temp.  No dark mode apply to wallpaper set.

2. Perhaps got a lemon. Issue with scrolling inspite of adaptive refresh being on..my aged note 8 does a better job.

Updates  :  Additionally, screen shutter when scrolling up and down occasionally  as this is occasional and minor so not worried. Adaptive refresh rate is on.

What is your screen set on?
You have a natural setting and a vivid setting. Natural is what I prefer, and it's not as colourful
Got to be honest and say I leave the plastic on until I have a screen protector to put on my phones

I'd certainly support the advice by @Glenntech  to leave the in-transit sheet in place until your screen protector arrive

I had a Whitestone Dome Glass Screen Protector on deck before my Samsung Galaxy s²² Ultra arrived.

I appreciate we all see / perceive things differently on our phone's but mine seems fine to me.

Mine is set to Natural.

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

I don't think because of the plastic film, my galaxy s10 plus screen looks much better which is very sharp and vibrant in colour, i compared it in both screen settings

Just sharing my experience, not saying you have a defective screen, or saying you should send it back for a replacement. When I received my note 20 ultra back in August 2020. Same as you my note 10 + the screen looked better. More vibrant, sharp. The note 20 whites looked yellowish and brightness wasn't as bright. It also had the green tint issue. Grey was green, no software updates made a difference. Seen a few posts on reddit with the same issue. So when I ordered the s21 ultra, compared the 2 side by side. It was very noticeable and yes, the s21 ultra was a keep for me. So I think I did have bad luck on the panel. Bad panels are out there, I sent an s7+ tab back as the left side of the screen was green in dark mode.

It is on vivid. I wish I might post a video.

I have been using galaxy phones since s8 days, got so plus, note 8, s20 plus and now s22 ultra. First such issue, so perception playing a role is little.

Thanks. I just wanted to be sure, before I ask for a replacement. I have had AMOLED screens since s8 days. Clearly color does not have a shine which is there in note 8 videos. Perhaps a video will help.

Coincidentally, my note 8 and s9 plus ( s20 + was sold off locally) brightness is higher than this device at least inside the room. Perhaps a lemon. Thanks for pointing this to me.
