Galaxy S22 stuttering when scrolling

I received my Galaxy S22 128 GB yesterday and the experience has not been good. I love the form factor of the phone and the interface but the stuttering is killing me. I installed the latest April Android update but I still encounter a lot of stuttering when scrolling on apps such as Twitter and Reddit. It is unacceptable. I had an S10e in the past and I never had any stuttering issues. I might send the S22 back. I tried to go back to 60hz but it is even worse. Can we expect an update soon?

Hi, I am writing to you from Italy with s22 ultra exynos. Same thing happens on mine, lag in vertical scrolling, I did some tests with other s22 and they have the same problem, instead s21 the scroll works well. I think it is due to the gpu that does not manage the scroll in the app well, I also hope for a new update, the one in April has not solved the problem and is really disappointing. Samsung gives a move the interface must be fluid after paying 1300 € otherwise it's the right time that I switch to the iPhone. We continue to report as much as possible. Greetings

Thank you for your feedback, let's keep reporting. I hope it will be enough to make them fix those issues. I really like this phone and want it to be better.

This is my Situation on the Samsung browser, less pronounced on the social apps. Is it the same problem with you?

Same issue here! S22+ ultra and every app, like FB, Reddit, LinkedIn is so stuttery it is unusable. I won't be getting another Samsung after this experience for sure. Top specced phone, unbelievably terrible performance for basic tasks.

Yup, I'm experiencing exactly this issue on my S22+. I noticed it this morning when scrolling up slowly in Google News. The text and images stutter so obviously. It's really disappointing to see from such an expensive phone.

Not sure if it's an adaptive refresh rate thing or a touch sensitivity thing, but they need to fix this soon in an update. I set my phone to 60hz (turned off adaptive) and the stuttering still occurs. This is interesting to note. Even at 60hz, the jerkiness is still there.

To anyone else who has this, please do what I did and go into your Samsung Members app, click "Support" bottom right, scroll down, and under the Send feedback heading, click "Error report".

You can even attach a screen recording of the issue taking place like I did. That will really show them what's going on.

Interesting. Happys on my s22+ but it is very minor and happens occasionally.

Same here. It scrolls fine for a bit in the Flipp app, but then turns to slow motion/stuttering. I saw someone else post a video but I don't know how to do that here. I did put in an error report with the video like someone else mentioned.

I am happy that there are people who still report the problem. but as you can see samsung still does not solve the problem. I am really disappointed, among other things there are who knows how many reports nothing has been done yet. by now i will wait for the one ui 5.0 if they do not solve i will say hello to samsung
