Samsung s22 ultra battery

It looks like s21 ultra has better battery life when s22 ultra. And overall nowhere near last years iphone 13 Pro. IPhone 14 is coming.

The S22 Ultra should have a good battery life in real world use.
I've seen some of the reports written.
For one thing, the battery and software go through at least a couple of weeks of conditioning. Learning usage patterns etc
Too many of the so called reviews are based on a few hours or a couple of days with a phone.
For me they are irrelevant and I take all those reviews with a large pinch of salt.

There's been a lot of thought gone into this years phones with regard to battery life. Even at times reducing screen refresh rate to minimal. 1Hz I believe which no other manufacturer does.
I will wait until I have mine in hand
Don't base your assumptions on these early reviews. Too many have agendas

I use an iPhone 12 Pro Max, Google Pixel 6 Pro and Galaxy Z Fold 3 as my daily phones currently. The Z Fold 3 does really well against those two and all the reviews said battery life is poor. Well I'm using it and it's not poor at all

Did the battery on s21 ultra get any better since it was first introduced? ? Can It beat 13 Pro now? We not talking about learning patterns etc. We talking about real comparison- same task for all phones. S21 u does better than s22 u. 13 pro well ahead of the game. Fact! I am sure even s20 can beat iphone if you put it in ultra battery saving mode but this is not the point. It looks like you always have this saving mode on ur fold 3

I think you are missing the point or already made you mind up.
The S22 Ultra is not even out yet.
Why bother mentioning the iPhone 14. It's months away from coming out.
I don't expect the S22 Ultra to be better than the iPhone 13 Pro. Two totally different phones and the iPhone has far less features etc.
Can't really compare the two.
Fact you are missing is that the S22 Ultra does have improved hardware and software over the S21 Ultra.
Not even a point to argue, its just fact.
I'm sure you are just here to make an argument. But the phone is not out yet so no one can possibly make a judgement.
Do you have the S22 Ultra?
Is this how you know the battery life is not as good.
Why make your judgement on someone else's point of view, whether it's biased or not.
The reviews are way too early to see what they will be like.

I did preorder s22u tbh. And was with Samsung since the first galaxy. I did not hope it will beat iPhone on battery but I was hoping for some improvement tbh. There are not that many alternatives on the market if you are after a top android phone. It disappointing. Not all reviews are general. But some are. Can wait to see at least one which will prove I am wrong. Hopefully there will be one before the 25th

I think the iPhone is going to be something that android phones will struggle against. They have software specifically designed for the phone, so it will be optimised for it.
Android will always be compromised a bit due to the fact its got to work with so many different makes and models
That said. My Huawei P30 Pro even after nearly 3 years is still getting two days battery life. So it could be done.
I get my S22 Ultra on the 10th March, getting the website exclusive red colour hence the delay getting it.
I do look forward to seeing how good or bad the battery life is amongst other things
Let us know how you get on with yours as you will get it before i get mine👍🏻

It's been proven already that the s21 ultra battery is a little better and it by minutes
Maybe the spen uses a bit more juice 🤔 who knows
It's a shame I did want to see another hr better battery but i can live with it.
You need to watch YouTube a bit more seems many reviewers have units in hand
mrwhostheboss did a great video today regarding battery
And no phone has ever increased its battery life in test done due to it being a solid test not a daily use which is when the phone learns patterns.
Still not bad 8hrs sot but a long way from the 10hrs 30mins the iPhone does
Hopefully 1 day samsung will be able to close the gap on battery life but I won't hold my breath 😀

YouTube is a bit like getting your news from Facebook
As I've said before, these are very early reviews from people that have had the devices days or hours.
Real reviews will be after a couple of months
YouTube videos are not fact and information is selective
I know enough YouTubers and been to enough launch events to know how it all works.
We both are getting the phones, so hopefully we can both prove them wrong and get great battery life out of our devices 👍🏻

So long as the phone lasts the full day without a charge then there isn't really an issue 🤷‍♂️.
I have 3 phones and the battery last the day on all of them so I'd say they all have great battery life.
