Samsung galaxy s22 ultra ghost touch

Hello,

Ever since I received the latest update (S908BXXU1AVCJ, april) my recently used apps button will automatically activate. For example when I click on a picture on whatsapp it will automatically press the recently used apps button. Same happens when I browse in Chrome. It even happened when I clicked the choose a board drop-down while creating this topic

Got a reply from samsung. Turning off the touch sensitivity option and battery saving mode is supposed to temporarily fix (or atleast decrease the frequency that the ghost touch occurs) the issue. Till it gets officially fixed. 

For me the suggestions above did not completely fix the issue it still happens just not as often as before.

It seems this problem is being called ghost touch. And more people are experiencing this since the april patch.

I turned on the option to switch the navigation buttons so back is left and recently opened apps is right. Now it still happens. But instead of recently opened apps it automatically triggers the back button

When i switch it to gestures it still happens. But now it zooms in instead of going back (so it counts as a click which zooms) because for gestures to work as they are ment to work you have to swipe. 

Does anyone else have this? It doesn't happen all the time. But often enough to annoy me.

Yep, when I'm typing it my return and home button gets presses without me touching it of course so it's pretty annoying when you're typing something and you suddenly get returned to the home screen and everything that you've typed it disappeared

Yes, i believe its the camera as its image stabilized. Mine rattles like crazy when shaking phone and its coming from the camera section

Turning off touch sensitivity = disabling a function that you need and paid for (i use gloves a lot so i need it on), so problem is not fixed. Samsung need to fix it.

Started with Ghost touch ALL THE TIME when using google sheets. Made me crazy as i could not enter a formula before it "ghost touched" lower right bottom bar button (app switch on my phone). Now it started doing it also on adobe reader. Seems like its app dependent somehow?

Chrome scrolling up after i scroll down i thought was a chrome issue, mayne it isnt?

Odd thing is that it never happens (trigger app switch button)!when ie playing mobile game TWD, using other apps like gmail and web browsers (except scrolling?).

But adobe used to work fine before, but now suddenly does not, so i wonder what it is that makes that difference between apps?

I recently bought a silver s22 ultra, released snapdragon version, and I have the problem of ghost touch. It's strange because when it's without a case, the touch works well, but when I use it with a case, it has ghost touches. I don't know if it's the same, sometimes I keep it, I use it and it has touches, I just don't know what's happening because the cell phone is clear, it's a shame, the case doesn't even fit tight, and when it's still without a case on a table, it gets a ghost touch with the finger

Seems update is causing this again. One day suddenly started having issue at top of screen intermittently whenever an app is open.

Here in 2025, I've had the longest fantasy about samsung.. Now ghost touch is ruining my experience with gaming on codm..

The analog buttons flickers, the aim flickers.. I've tried many things including deleting game hub and factory resetting my device
