S22 Ultra - sometimes unable to answer call as no green button

From time to time (so, an intermittent problem), my phone rings but I don't have any way of answering it.  No green button and nothing in notifications.  What is the cause of this and how can I fix it?

That's a conundrum @Sirrah 

Unfortunatley intermittent issues can be the hardest to resolve.

Can you try Safe Mode > Safe Mode  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/ turns off downloaded apps and themes etc which may highlight an app or theme that's causing conflict.

I also have the problem, but it is when the screen is locked. Also, if in navigation mode, the bottom icons don't respond to touch. It requires closing or minimising navigation and then they respond to touch. I don't know if both problems are related, but in both instances it only occurs while the screen has auto locked.

Same problem here. No answer screen pops-up for a phone call and nothing in notifications. Seems like this is phone 101, make sure the phone operates as a phone above everything else. Samsung S22+ 256gb
