Voice recording issues after update

Hello, I had a mandatory update on my Galaxy S22 a few days ago. After this, my voice recording for the Messages (texting app) does not work; it keeps saying something along the lines of playback failed. It is really frustrating because I have not been able to find a definitive answer how to fix this and I never had issues with this before.

What's the exact error message? Did you clear phone cache partition 

Can you record audio in other apps

Maybe attempt. Settings- apps- messages- force stop- storage- clear cache. Restart phone.

If still happens- share screenshot of issue?
