Fingerprint issues following update

Anyone else suffering from the fingerprint sensor not working since the latest update? A restart usually fixes things, but it is so annoying after 2years of it working fine.

Have you tried re registering you fingerprint?
Sometimes updates can refine software and if a screen protector is used. May affect the sensor

Yup, deleted and re-registered them.

Maybe try wiping the Partition Cashe
I find it useful along with regularly restarting my phone to keep things optimal
I find depending upon screen protectors, changing the screen protector occasionally can help as especially film type ones can yellow and suffer with scratch damage over time

Hi folks thank you for your suggestions. I have now found the culprit. I was using a scheduled restart, having now turned it off there is no longer an issue.

Do you have a scheduled restart set? If so turned it off, mine has been fine since I switched it off

I have tried it, it's not working, I have run the diagnostic and it's flagged up as a problem.
