Hi @MaryRH, I'm sorry to hear about your connection issue. If you're still experiencing this, let's try forgetting the connection between the phone and car system on both of them and after you've done this, search for your phone from your car system while the screen on your phone is unlocked. When your car system finds it, select the phone and wait for the connection to be established. When it's successfully connected, it will say it's connected for audio and calls under the Bluetooth connection. To reconnect it later, please ensure the screen on your phone is unlocked and wait until this message is stated under the Bluetooth connection.

@Georgie85: When you connect your phone to your car via Bluetooth, and launch your preferred media app, please try heading to Settings > Sounds and Vibration > Volume, and make sure that your Media volume is at a suitable level. While you're here, toggle on 'Use volume keys for media' to allow the use of the Volume Up/Down buttons on the side of the phone for media volume. With the media app open, please swipe from the top of the screen to the bottom, then again to enlarge the Quick Panel, tap the 'Media' button and check the volume slider here.
If the issue persists, please can you try an alternative media app to see if the issue persists? Also, head to Settings > Apps > Select the relevant app > Mobile Data > Allow background data usage > On. Furthermore, try heading to Settings > Lock screen > Widgets > Music, and toggle this on. Let me know if this helps.
