Some days ago I was in a location and there was no WIfi coverage.
I tried to download updates for some apps but I always got the message 'waiting for wifi'.
I included 4g as a way to download but I still got the same message.
When I got home I had Wifi coverage but the applications to update all showed 'pending download'.
I left it in this state whole night long but the next morning nothing was changed.
So I cancelled the downloads.
When I had play store looking for updates but no new updates were found.
So now I wonder how to update those cancelled downloads.
I already cleared the cache and the data for the play store and I rebooted the phone, none of this made any difference.
Then I read somewhere you had to delete you google account from the accounts of the phone and add it again.
So I did but downloads were not resumed.
Does anybody know a way how to resume cancelled downloads?

Uninstall the updates from the particular apps either by app management or the app info, clear cache, then go up to the 3 dots/ hamburger menu and uninstall updates then you should be able to install the newest updates.
