S22 ultra freezing after answering the call

Hi,

sometimes my  S22 ultra freezes after answering the call. how could this be fixed? i regularly update my phone

DEVICE: Samsung Galaxy S22+

ISSUE:
On 4/4/2023 I started getting reports of people calling me but it did not come through to my phone. This morning (4/7) I started getting your same issue where I'll answer a call and it will appear to answer but still shows "Incoming Call" at the top of the screen and I'm unable to use any of the buttons in the phone app (speaker, mute, end call, keypad, etc.). I'm also unable to back out of the app. While I can go to my active apps list and force close the app, the notification bar icon showing I am on an active call does not go away until I reboot the phone.

TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS TAKEN THUS FAR:
-Cleared the cache in my phone app settings.
-Cleared cache on system partition.
-Booted into Safe Mode and uninstalled apps I don't regularly use and was able to receive calls successfully. However, after booting not in safe mode, the issue returned.
-I tried turning off the Caller ID and spam protection setting in the phone app, same issue.

RESOLUTION (at least, temporarily until Samsung gets their stuff together):
-Go to Settings > Battery and device care > Battery > Background usage limits > Deep sleeping apps
-hit the plus icon and select Google Fi > click Add
-Place a test incoming call.

My S22 (standard) locks up upon answering incoming call; touch screen not operating, red button only but thats dead; says incoming call but no mic or speaker activity - dead. I have to hold power button down to use the restart to get the phone unbricked. Several times in the last week, first start with just 1 incoming call two weeks ago and now it is every incoming call. I can initiate a outgoing call ok and can use data (google search) ok. Service is Google Fi and phone is about 1 month old.

Hi same problem on s22 phone. I bought it month ago had this problem already 3 times. After i click to reset by buttons phone stuck 🤬

Paied alot of money for nothing. Even to answer call it can not.... already 1 month with this phone and 3 times stuck when try to answer call

I'm also unable to back out of the app. Phone then reboots it self or  I reboot it by holding power button. Already happened like 6 or even more times. Phone is only 3 months old. Already on april security update but issue persist. Its really random and it sometimes happens twice a week and sometimes once in a week. Problem is I tryed all sugestions here and none helped. Also there is no chance to send it to repait. If technicians turn on the phone for 99.9% they wont get the issue and might think its without a problem. There is a little chance it will happen right at the time when its in service. Its so anoying for this expensive device.

I also don't see a record of the call in the Recents screen afterwards.

Please any idea how to solve this?

Update 17.4.2022. I have recently Factory resetted the phone and installed it fresh (took me almost 2 days to set up all, because I went from scratch just to be sure I dont install some bad settings from backup).

Finished yesterday and today same problem as before...

Incomming call, I answer it and phone freezes and restart it self. Then it will run optimatisatoin of UI and turns on.

This time I could see missed number.

Sending it to repair service.

Very dissapointed, with this expensive phone that is just about a month old 😞

Same problem here. This is not an isolated case... Five S22 units at our company. All can randompy freeze while answering phonecall.
