Have had my s22 Ultra for 3 years and has been a great phone. Now though, phone freezes or crashes with "system UI not responding" or "X application not responding".
Factory reset it and it didn't help.
Took it to a repair place and they thought it might be the motherboard and might as well get a new phone.
One thing I noticed though, when plugged in to my PC by USB for me to troubleshoot it runs completely fine. Will run all day with no freezing or crashing.
Anyone have any insight into how that could be the case?
Thanks!

Hi @Hasturyourlord Welcome to the Samsung community
An idea to run in Safe Mode as sometimes there can be conflicts with 3rd party apps and if ok in this mode would pinpoint recent apps which have been installed. https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/
clearing the cache partition can help with lags/freezes, have you tried this?
1. Turn off the device.
2. Connect To Computer , other Device or TV USB, Press and hold the Volume Up key and then press and hold the Power key
3. When the Android logo displays, release both keys.
4. Wait until the Android system recovery menu options appear.
5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
6. Press Power key to select.
7. Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
8. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
9. Press the Power key to restart the device.
However there have been some issues reported with S22 Devices some of which are hardware related, others appeared to be software related though. If cannot be resolved would be best to have this checked by a Samsung service centre or authorised repairer , not sure if this was the case.
