*** UPDATE: After following advice in here I'm currently using Firefox and this seems to help. Hopefully this means it's just a software issue that can be resolved in an update. ***
Random black screen in browser e.g. Chrome, Edge or Twitter app. Goes away if rotating phone to landscape & back, pressing the left App switching button, pressing power/lock and unlock again, or swiping from top. Especially happens when scrolling or on pages with video.
Have reinstalled, factory reset, cleared caches etc. Anyone else seen this?

Just tested on FHD+ and absolutely no issue at all. However I don't think it's a chrome related issue, as I've had it happen on other apps too. Can you guys test it as well too, please?

Yeah moving off the top resolution has fixed it for me.

I've been using FHD+ all day and sadly the issue has been happening all day long. I downloaded the firefox app (something i've never used before) and webpage's which have consistently been closing down with the black screen don't seem to do it on firefox as they have been doing with Chrome. Very odd and frustrating.

Another UK early release S22 Ultra here affected.
I've just tried setting my display to FHD+ and natural screen mode, to get stuck in a loop with the screen flashing black and showing the lock screen. Until it crashed my phone, making it reboot.
Back on now but the problem still persists when scrolling in Chrome, especially on Twitter.

Same here, firefox seems to work fine (for now) though so the good news is that it must be software issue

It's pretty disappointing that Samsung have not properly acknowledged this, as it appears to be a widespread issue. There are multiple threads now with people describing this same situation. With people either talking about returning their phones or already having done so, i would think it would be in Samsungs advantage to be transparent about this being fixable and offering reassurance to people. I have tested out Firefox (as mentioned before) and Vivaldi browsers and the issue doesn't seem to have replicated, but let's be honest i should be able to use Chrome when i've spent over a grand on a phone. They have acknowledged the refresh rate/resolution problem, so why not this?
