Saved links gone

Recently updating my apps and have inadvertently performed some sort of reset when deleting some system apps I didn't think were needed.

My home screen apps were removed (have spent time putting them back) however, all of the 'Add to home screen' shortcuts from Chrome that I'd saved to folders - are gone. There's hundreds I saved and I cannot see where they are/how to return them. 

Any help would be appreciated!

If you have backed up the Home Screen and the Apps to Samsung Cloud, then you can restore the Home Screen from Samsung Cloud ( Settings > Accounts and backup > Restore data) to get all the shortcuts back.

Thank you! This worked for me. I deleted a full folder of home screen icons and did not want to remake it. Luckily backup restore can be done in pieces just for home screen layout and it works.
