I received my Galaxy S22 Ultra 512GB, Exynos version, over a week before official release date. As I was using the phone I discovered several bugs with my unit, screen blackouts, occasionaly freezes, conversations loosing sound, phon not reachable over GSM network even if my signals was good. I decided to wait until official release date to see if new software would be released. On the 25th Samsung released new firmware for my phone, and I did a complet factory reset after new firmware was installed. I am now on firmware S908BXXU1AVBF and fresh phone setup.
My screen problems seems to be gone, but GSM network issues are still there. Several times I have been made aware of that my phone can not be reached by callers, even if phone is showing signals. Solution, reboot. Turning on and off flightmode did not help. Also I am experiencing sound dropouts during calls, call is not droped but sound oth ways are lost, duration 10 - 15 seconds. Also when making a call the phone uses much longer time to set up the call than other phones I have had. Calling my self from other phones give simular results, setting up phone calles to my Galaxy S22 Ultra take much longer then calling others.
Have been in contact with Samsung support, but there is no help to get there. Try this, try that, over and over again. I am starting to loose my patients now, and its impossible for me to have a phone I dont know if I can be reached at, and when I manage to set up a call, sound is lost several times during the call.

I'm waiting to here from Samsung about the issue and if replacement handsets will be sent.
I want to know what happens if the replacement also has the same issue. Will we get full refund still?

How do we get websites like websites that do reviews aware of this issue.
Eg Tom's guide, trusted reviews, tech radar, android authority to gain some exposure here

I think it might be a good explanation to your concern. The problem seems to be when the phone is not set to use 4G speech, and not use WiFi calling. 4G speech is on as default, and therefore many people will not have be aware of the problem until they turn this of, or get in to an area with bad signals. It might be a hardware problem with the modem, this could limit the amount of affected units, but if it’s a software problem I guess most people will experience this if the turn of 4G speech and WiFi calling. Time will show what’s the truth to this problem. But what’s certain is that it’s not a flagship worthy no matter what, and Samsung should be very humble to customer's experiencing these kind of problems.

Try to send them the link to this discussion. Explain to them that you experience the exact same, and ask them to test the phone with 4G speech and WiFi calling turned off to see if they get the same result.
I think all serious testers will be happy to check this out as it very well might be a big issue.

Hi guys,
Good news. Just had a chat with the support team. They said they are aware of the issue and they're gonna release an update soon.

That's good news. What country are you based in? Wonder how long it will take.

Resposne from Samsung.
I can't do this until Tuesday unfortunately as I'm away where there no mobile signal for long weekend.
"this isn't what we like to hear. Lets get to the bottom of this. Let’s try starting your phone up in Safe Mode. This will disable all third party applications temporarily, to see if they are the root cause of the issues you’re having. To do this turn your phone off, then back on, and when you spot the Samsung logo on the screen, press and hold the Volume Down button until you see displayed ‘Safe Mode’. If the issue disappears in Safe Mode, you’ll need to disable the third party apps one by one until you find the culprit. Let us know how you get on with this"

Has anyone else been advised to use Safe mode or done it?

Sorry to say this, but I'm in the U.S. and having exact same problems with my S22 Ultra. Doubtful it's the chip, right? Had perfect signal at this location for years with my S10 plus. All other family members have perfect signal still, using iPhones. I have swapped sims, done all the resets, and cleared the cache. I even just installed an expensive signal booster (my bad). Nothing works. Even when making wifi calls I am experiencing drop offs and robot voices. I have requested a replacement phone and told it was a 3 week wait here in the U.S. Thank heaven I have a backup phone.
