Anyone else having problems since the software update on 16th Feb 2025?
Since doing the update my phone looses around 10% battery every hour. It doesn't last a day!! It used to last 2-3 days before charging.
It's also practically impossible to get on the Internet unless you're connected to a WiFi network. I wish I'd not updated it.

Anyone else having these issues?

Hi! Since this has happend just after an update I would suggest

Plug into PC. 1. Turn off the phone. 2. Press and hold the required buttons to open the recovery menu. 3. Release the buttons when the phone vibrates and the Samsung logo appears. 4. Use the volume buttons to navigate to Wipe cache partition. 5. Press the power button to select Wipe cache partition. 6. Press the volume buttons to navigate to Yes. 7. Press the power button to confirm Yes. 8. The phone will automatically reboot.

Other things to look out for- is AOD on?
Go to samsung care- battery- make sure there's no apps killing the phone

There is a diagnostic tool 🔧 in your Samsung Members App to see if that highlights anything @Chrisshep

And try https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/

Ultimately a factory reset after backing up may help.

You can send feedback via the Samsung Members App.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Thanks for the replies.

I've done a wipe cache, which hasn't changed anything, sadly.

I'm reluctant to do a factory reset just yet. Whilst everything will be backed up, I'll still need to re-install things like my bank cards n other things.

Samsung has asked me to do a couple of things but not really explained how to do them so once they've replied I'll see what's what.

For you connection problems it can help to reset your network settings. You can do this without resetting the phone. Hope this helps

Is there a reset network settings tab or do you have to do a few things?
Had a look but couldn't see how this is done

Those are the options. Just go into settings and type reset in the search box, saves scrolling through 1740150165794.jpg

I'm sadly in the same boat. I've done a partition cache wipe, uninstalled apps, made more room on my phone, and nothing. My phone freezes and restarts about 15 times a day. All these problems started with the update and it's frustrating that Samsung isn't providing any help.

Yeah, I'm still waiting to hear from them. I first reported the issue on 18/02/2025, 2 days after the update and I've had nothing from them. Quite bad really. Even if they'd have said that they're still looking into it, that would be something. But complete silence.

My techy bf might have found a temporary solution until the new system update comes out. He cleared the cache partition and that didn't offer any help so he downloaded Microsoft Launcher from the play store and installed it. By doing this it stops launching  Samsung's 1UI. All my apps are still there and while the look is a tiny bit different, it's been two hours and no boot loops or any glitches. My phone also doesn't feel like it's overheating. Fingers crossed this works until I can back everything up or just buy a new phone. As someone who uses their phone heavily for work purposes, it's been an absolute nightmare so I hope this helps you or anyone else who's equally frustrated!
