For your notifications, please head to Settings > Notifications > Included Apps > All Apps, and toggle this on, or make sure that the Email app is toggled. Tap the Back button > Advanced Settings > Show Notification Icons > Select your preferred option > App Icon Badges > On. Now, head to Settings > Apps > Email > Notifications > Select a subcategory > Alert (On) > Show as pop-up (On). While you're here, choose your Sound and Vibrate preferences, then go back and apply the same settings to any other subcategories. Let me know if this helps.
If you have recently received your Galaxy S22, then please be aware that the device will still be in process of learning your usage patterns, and optimising the device accordingly. If you head to Settings > Battery and Device Care > Battery, and check the bottom right of the usage graph, then you should see a message to inform you of this. It can take a few weeks for the phone to learn your usage patterns, after which you should begin to see an improvement in your overall battery life.
