The article omits to mention that you now need to connect the Device to a computer or plug in USB- C Headphones (certainly on the S series) to enter the Recovery mode. Alternatively can also use USB connection on TV or connect another phone if that is more suitable. Wiping the cache partition can certainly help with freezes/lags and is advisable after updates. It would also be beneficial to repair apps from the same Recovery Menu.

Hi @katrina87
Make sure all your apps in the Playstore and Galaxy Store are updated and in your Battery and Device Care Section you tap to optimise.
Safe Mode can help too.
Safe Mode > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/ turns off downloaded apps and themes etc which may highlight an app or theme that's causing conflict.
If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate. Take care. 😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
