Hi it generally a good idea to wipe the cache partition after a major update. Follow this guide for further info and instructions. https://www.tomsguide.com/how-to/clear-cache-galaxy-s22
If you are still having the same issue you could go into diagnosis, and run tests, but if that's the case it's kinda heading towards a service center. 🤞 Clearing the cache helps 🍀

The article omits to mention  that you now  need to connect the Device to a computer  or plug in  USB- C Headphones (certainly on the S series) to enter the Recovery mode.  Alternatively can also use USB connection on TV  or connect another phone  if that is more suitable. Wiping the cache partition can certainly help with freezes/lags and is advisable after updates.  It would also be beneficial to repair apps from the same Recovery Menu.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

Hi @katrina87

Make sure all your apps in the Playstore and Galaxy Store are updated and in your Battery and Device Care Section you tap to optimise.

Safe Mode can help too.

Safe Mode  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/ turns off downloaded apps and themes etc which may highlight an app or theme that's causing conflict.

If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate. Take care.  😎

It won't, the ONLY solution is for scamsung to fix their software update. Which they won't as they want you to buy the newer models..
