S22 Ultra - Freezing, Crackling noises and turning off..

Hello, I had S22 Ultra for 2 years, warranty ended this month, and now today some problems started.

Phone is randomly freezing, I loose pixels on part of the screen, some crackling noises start then phone shutsdown and restarts. Don't know what's going on, tried searching around, but nothing.

Have you tried any troubleshooting steps such as clearing the phone's System Partition Cache Files Section and as a last resort back up and factory reset @Wardoe 

The phone has a diagnostic test tool found in your Samsung Members App too. The crackling might be the speakers.

Ok the Manufacturer's 2 year warranty may have ended, but Samsung will still listen to any feedback via the Samsung Members App, and look at the phone via a Samsung Service Centre albeit at a possible cost. 

You may have insurance through Home Contents insurance, and or some bank accounts provide cover as a perk of the account. T&C's and excess fee's would need to be checked.

If i am being honest that sounds quite worrying. 😮

If that was my phone, i would stop using or powering it immediately, and probably also go to the extremes of placing it somewhere safe outside of my house.

Can't quite tell from the video the nature of the sound, but if it is randomly switching off and on and coming out with such noise then I wouldn't use it until it has been checked by a diagnostic engineer in a samsung service centre.

I guess my other question would be to ask if it has had anything occur that might have been in the run up to this happening... I.e... dropped, water ingress... or anything else worthy of comment ?

I have to agree with @smiley it does sound concerning, I would not use device if it has these sounds, it could be due to static interferences or phone's coronation if it had any contact with water.

I suggest reaching out to Samsung’s support services, or if, as mentioned, you have close Samsung store, go and let experts look at it.

Yeah, I kinda started to panic when it started, I instantly shut it down and switched to different phone, I never really dropped it, at least not from big height, too paranoid to dip it in water, I been using it as USB tethering for quite awhile since it's faster then my internet, so might be battery related?

Sadly closest authorized service is like 300km away from me, I talked to Samsung support they said since warranty expired, I could take it to any service, might do that, instead of mailing the phone.

The same thing is happening to my phone. Did you figure out what is causing it?

Not really, a lot of posts saying new update did it, lots of people reporting boot loop, but I contacted one of the services, and they want 500€ to replace motherboard & battery, I paid like 580€ for phone, had discount, so nope.

Уже купил китайский простой телефон на замену.

Видимо Самсунг скоро обанкротится)
