Lately my phone has been restarting itself if its not connected to earphones it makes a buzzing sound before freezing the screen and turning off . It sometimes shows pixels sometimes doesn't. I've run a diagnostics run on this app but it says it's fine . The battery life is normal and typical . Any suggestions. I bought it second hand of back market .

Check if there is a pending update. If the issue still hasn't been resolved, try contacting Samsung's customer care.

Hi! Welcome to the Samsung Members community.

In my opinion, it's best to speak to Samsung support for this. I would try to get this issue fixed before it progresses.

However, try this.
Plug into PC/laptop—should work with a USB-C headset, too.
1. Turn off the phone.
2. Press and hold the Volume up and Side buttons.
3. Release the Side button when the phone turns on.
4. Press and hold the Volume up button until the phone enters Recovery Mode.
5. Use the Volume down button to select Wipe cache partition.
6. Press the Side button.
7. Use the Volume down button to select Yes.
8. Press the Side button.
9. The phone will automatically reset and reboot.

I think you should go back to the retailer and tell them about your issue with the device. It sounds like it is their responsibility to me 👍

Do you have another camera to take a picture of these pixels you see?

Wiping the cache partition on a Samsung device clears temporary files and data from the device's operating system. This can help the device run more smoothly- no you dont lose anything
