Fast Wireless charging not working on S22 Ultra

Hi Samsung, 

Received Exynos 2200 S22 Ultra 512 GB variant not long ago. The #Fast Wireless Charging# on it is not working. I am using a 15W fast wireless charger that works with other Samsung and Huawei smartphones.

It shows #Fast Wireless Charging# for a second and then reverts back to normal wireless charging. I have been in touch with a Samsung expert through online chat and I was asked to clear the cache from the recovery menu, which did not make a difference. Then I was asked to back up my data and reset the phone to factory settings. Unfortunately, that did not resolve the issue. 

Since the phone came out, there are two updates sent over the air but they did not address this issue. The representative told me if resetting the phone does not solve the issue then I would require repair/replacement.

I am leaving a post here as in my little understanding, I believe it is a software issue and a software patch should resolve it. Just to mention, Fast and Superfast cable charging works just fine.

Is anyone having the same issue?

Ive done extensive testing with various chargers and had lots of different experiences... the one thing that I have NOT seen in most of these posts is the variable on the cable you use.  NOT ALL CABLES ARE THE SAME.  as well, as NOT ALL TRANSFORMERS (BRICKS) ARE THE SAME... the piece that plugs into the wall or your car...  I have a special tester tool I bought from amazon that measures voltage from usb under a load, and its amazing how different cables act totally differently.  Also, quality control isn't perfect in these chargers as well... I have two chargers that are identical, both purchased from amazon a month apart, and one works high speed with my s22 and s10+ and one worked for a while then stopped doing high speed now only does regular speed.... Id blame the charger/cable/brick before I blame the software/phone personally,   have a great day everyone and good luck getting your ***** to charge!  buy a few different cables and test them out!

I have the same brand new s22 ultra with the same exact problem, and tried exactly the same suggestions to no avail. 

I believe there's a serious defect with these editions and Samsung needs to come out with the truth and support the needed repairs.

I feel that I just threw away $1200.

Very frustrating 

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I have the same problem. 

Wireless charging cuases the battery to go down instead of up.

The power block isn't the problem. You can buy reputable brands that even ATT sells in their stores and it doesn't work. I purchased a 15W TYLT wireless charger and on my S22 it starts in fast charge but then I get a message that the device isn't compatible and it drops back. If I use my iPhone 13 it works perfectly fine and does take 2 hours to go up 20%. The TYLT says that this charge is compatible up the S20 FE. I have a few of those because of returns of those and it turns out even the ones with the newest updates get the message that fast charge is not compatible. This is a software restriction.
