I have to say I'm so disappointed with the Exynos 2200! I've not gamed yet on my S22 Ultra but in everyday use I've experienced stutters and freezing but most importantly exceptionally poor RAM management. Its absolutely not fair that we pay the same price as everyone else but have to settle for a below par chip! And I've absolutely made up my mind that if by the next time I upgrade we don't either have the latest Snapdragon or an Exynos chip that is equal to or better then the Snapdragon then I'm done with Samsung! And that's a promis.

There was a problem with the Exynos 2200 in January https://www.androidauthority.com/samsung-mismanaged-exynos-2200-3093464/

Here here, I also promise never to buy an inferior Exynos device ever again. I agree its NOT fair and I'm also very disappointed with my S22 Ultra Exynos performance.

I totally understand and appreciate your viewpoint on this @KalexyFold5

I owned both variants of phone that's use the SnapDragon and Exynos SoC chipsets in the past.

My Fold³ uses a SnapDragon SoC.

I used the Samsung Note ²⁰ Ultra Exynos version bought from Samsung UK and I've also imported a Samsung Note ²⁰ Ultra SnapDragon SoC from Samsung Hong Kong to be able to try both variants out.

I found the SnapDragon SoC in that particular phone optimised better giving around an hour better usage time. Most everything else felt the same.

It does appear from some people posting on the Samsung Community Forum that actually own and use the phone are experiencing issues.

Others are copy and pasting links from Tech Articles who don't own the phone themselves.

I do own and use the Samsung Galaxy s²² Ultra 256gb Exynos SoC variant and mine is fine.

I would suggest if the known generic troubleshooting tips do not help then consider asking the source that supplied the phone to swap it out. Look at any applicable cooling off period.

The known generic troubleshooting guides I'm speaking of are >

Clean System Cache Files  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to hook up to a Computer or insert your earphones to enter into recovery mode.

Safe Mode  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/ will help to highlight if an app or theme etc is potentially causing issues.

I wish all the best.

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Well said :smiling-face:

I wish more people would think like you, rather than keep relying on the cliche, "let's wait for an update".

You can't fix a rubbish chipset with updates. The Exynos Chipset is hardware, modifying software to accommodate it is like buying a Ferrari with a Dacia engine in it, but trying to modify the car to run just as good as a Ferrari with a proper engine inside it.

Samsung are ripping off Europeans.

If Apple can buy Samsung displays to put in their phones then maybe Samsung should consider buying Apple Bionic chips the Exynos clearly ain't good enough and from what I'm hearing neither is the Snapdragon 8 gen 1. Although I love android let's be honest the Apple Bionic chipset is far far superior in almost every department!

Samsung is having a laugh at our (very high) expense...

15% battery drain in standby (exyNOT) compared to 4% (snapdragon)... even if future updates improve things a bit i will not be handing my hard earned over to Scamsung.!

As far as I understand though, the problem is.. when the GOS is disabled yes the phone will perform much faster BUT the chip will overheat and the battery will loose charge equally fast..?
