Clear Cache

Hi, i have a S22 and the other day I randomly found a Clear All Cache option. And it worked great and now it seems to have vanished. Can anyone help me out as going to Apps one by one is very time consuming.

AFAIK it can only be done one app at a time. The only way to clear all app cache at once is a factory reset.

Theres a reset all settings option if thats what you're after
Settings >general management >reset >reset all settings

There's also reset app preferences
Settings>apps. Tap 3 dots top rh corner. Tap Reset app preferences

There's a ' Repair apps' option in the recovery menu but word is that doesn't work anymore.

Did you see this option in device care. I've never had this option myself before. But I did put a post up about it. As I came across something about it on reddit.

Still haven't found out how, and still have to clear cache one app at a time.

I did and I used it 3 times and it literally cleared all cache and gave me up 2gb storage back.

Yeah that is what I have been doing before but I literally used the clear all cache 3 times and then the option just vanished

I wonder if it comes available when it does need clearing. Always bugged me though. As some see it in the options, and i do not. But it obviously does exist.

I am chatting to tech support now and I don't think they even know it it exists lol

Some reports online suggest that function was an Android thing, not Samsung, and Google removed it. What firmware are you running? Did you recently update your phones software and that's why it's disappeared? Where are you based?

It was because of a software update and then another update lol. Updates add of get rid of apps and features. Lol how can an Update downgrade?

I just spoke to someone on tech support and you're right it must be an update thing. Shame really. It was a great tool.
