S22+ stuck on One Ui 6.1 July 2024 Security update.

Hello! My S22+ has not gotten a single software update since the July 2024 security update, which had made me stuck on One Ui 6.1. I've tried various methods to get the update to work, such as trying in safe mode, trying using smart switch on pc, and clearing cache in recovery mode. None of these have gotten my phone to recognize a new software version is out, and with One Ui 8 beta being already accessible to some I would appreciate at least getting One Ui 7.

If your Samsung S22 is stuck on the One UI 6.1 update 😂 screen, try a forced restart by holding the volume down and power buttons for 10-15 seconds. If that doesn't work, boot into Recovery Mode (volume up + power + Bixby) and clear the cache partition. As a last resort, perform a factory reset after backing up your data

However, where did you buy your device from? Suspect it is a device designed for a different region.....

That usually means your phone is originally from a different country. If you buy a phone from non official sources, sometimes they're actually imported from another country. This breaks updates. Using a sim card for a different country can also break updates.

Sometimes it's also caused by carrier mismatching. Get a phone designed for one carrier, use another carrier sim, things break.

For fixes, find the original country of the phone, put a cheap pay as you go sim in once a month that's for the original country.

You can also try putting the phone in download mode, wiping all data and using a pc with smart switch to reflash the latest update.

I'm stuck on Jan 2024 and 6.1. I only noticed a few weeks, I thought mine was up to date until I checked. The amazing thing is, I bought my phone in the UK, so there is no reason my carrier etc shouldn't match up with the csc. I seem to of read that there's loads of complex solutions out there to sort out the issue. So far, I've not come to one.im stuck with a 24 s galaxy ultra and it won't update.....Thanks Samsung!!

It wasbought as Vodafone upgrade. So, god only knows how this happened. But they refuse to help as I'm not with them anymore.
