Bluetooth keeps disconnecting in car

Since the last software update. My phone s22 ultra constantly keeps connecting to my car and then disconnecting. I have managed to get a video, it looks like someone is constantly pressing the Bluetooth button on and off, all day long. I have called Samsung, I've done a factory reset, still got the issue. Samsung say, to clear cache on Bluetooth, but its all greyed out and unable too. Any advice before I throw it out the window. I have tried s21 and note 10+ in car, both work fine. S22 ultra all ok, till last update.

Samsung update. Has been working fine all day, and been in car for over 6 hrs. No issues with disconnecting

Updating the Bluetooth AVCRP Version did nothing for me, already tried it before and gave it another shot now, but Bluetooth still disconnects. 

I'm now also installing the new Samsung update, let's hope that actually fixes it.

I didnt want to post too early, in case it didn't work. But updated it on Tuesday, and seems to be ok, yesterday and all day today. Its taken them long enough to get sorted. Fingers crossed software update works for you! I've been carrying two phones, incase my s22 disconnects, back to only 1 phone now, fingers crossed. Good luck with your update

I got that update on Monday but for me it hasn't affected anything, same problem still. The only thing that works is when the phone is in safe mode, then Bluetooth stays stable, but then I can't use apps. The update has build number S908BXXS6CWF6. Is this the same as you got?

Uninstall update on android auto. Reboot phone and update app. This is what I did before, the software update happened.

It doesn't disconnect all day long

Same update. Bluetooth disconnected three times in 15 minutes today.

Grim. That's a real pain on the backside. Tbh, I'm away now and won't be connected to car for a while. Lets hope its still stable when I return.

I can also confirm that the update didn't fix anything for me:

  • I installed the same update linked in the thread earlier
  • I cleared cache & files of Android Auto
  • I removed the update from Android Auto & Updated it again from the Play Store

During 5 minute drive I had 4-5 disconnects, just like before.

Samsung is really losing its game. I'm already upset that for the S22 they handed out the Exynos CPU in Europe rather than the vastly superior Snapdragon CPU... And this Bluetooth issue that's dragging on for several months now just makes it worse...
