I have s22 ultra, 1Tb with Samsung Buds.
After the last android update, my Bluetooth persistently disconnects from my cars Bluetooth during a call making it unusable.
I tried to report on Android developer forum, but it is user hostile, confusing and un-targeted.
Where can I get help? After spending €1800 on a phone, is my only solution to change phones?
Any help appreciated,
PS Works fine with my old phone and my wife's phone

Hi, @AndrewKelly. Firstly, thanks for posting. I moved your post to the S22 Series board, so that our Community users are more likely to see it.
You may wish to have a look at the guide that was created by our colleagues from Samsung US:
We understand that your Bluetooth is disconnecting after the latest software update on your S22 Ultra. So, if the tips in the guide above didn't help, I'd recommend consulting and following the tips in the guide below:
In the unlikely event that this doesn't resolve the issue, I'd definitely recommend reporting this directly to our engineers, as they'd be able to take a closer look. Here's how you can do that:
I appreciate I'm sending a lot of guides there, but I just want to help ensure you get this resolved as soon as possible.
Please keep the thread updated by letting us know how you get on. 👍
The phone worked with the car (4 years old) for 4 months before the problems started after upgrade. Also, I have no problems with S21, S8+ , S9 and iphone 12. I will try what you suggest, that is interesting. I was really hoping I could roll back a version on the Bluetooth and try.
My phone also did an update for the buds and I have read elsewhere that developers have had problems with android 12 and Bluetooth. I also had an issue with the galaxy buds, like they went out of synchronicity but that seems to have sorted itself.
I have tried all the old protocols. This is not the problem.
I have verified the car's hardware and software, so the issue is in the phone hardware or software.
This only broke after a software upgrade.
Now I have an €1600 S22Ulta (1Tera version), a few months old, and I can't use it in the car.
Samsung Technical support fixed this today, by resetting the Bluetooth settings, as follows:
1. From the home screen, either swipe up or down to access apps.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select General management.
4. Select Reset.
5. Select Reset network settings.
6. Select Reset settings.
7. Enter your screen lock PIN, Pattern or Password and select Next.
8. Select Reset.
