I accidentally fell asleep without plugging in my phone and it died completely. When I tried to plug it in, none of my chargers would charge it. I tried chargers plugged into wall adapters and computers. Nothing. At one point the phone started buzzing with a moisture alert when there is no moisture.  This thing is Completely dead! Any ideas what i can do?

Hi @codinggoblin86

would suggest that you clean the charging port  to rule out  any debris , as if you have tried a few chargers suggests another  issue.     some advice here https://www.asurion.com/connect/tech-tips/how-to-clean-out-your-android-or-iphone-charging-port/

Are you able to get anything functioning by plugging into computer, see you of you can get into Recovery Mode. sometimes wiping the cache partition can help with charging issues, if not done lately certainly an idea if other solutions do not help.   Follow these steps:

1. Turn off the device.
2. Connect To Computer or other Device , Press and hold the Volume Up key and then press and hold the Power key
3. When the Android logo displays, release all three keys.
4. An 'Installing system update' message will show for 30 - 60 seconds before the Android system recovery menu options appear.
5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
6. Press Power key to select.
7. Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
8. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
9. Press the Power key to restart the device.

otherwise  may will need an investigation though could try a Wireless charger if you have one.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

@codinggoblin86: If the problem persists after attempting the steps provided above, please try heading to Settings > Apps > Tap the 3 lines to the right of 'Your apps' > Show system apps (toggle this on) > OK > Scroll down and select 'USBSettings' > Storage > Clear cache > Restart your device.

If you have access to a home computer, then you may also wish to try connecting your phone via USB to see if you're able to establish a charge in this manner.
