Auto Rotate completely missing

I need help! I noticed a couple months ago that my auto rotate is missing. The icon is no longer in the drop down panel anywhere. I even searched through settings. No where! The auto rotate is gone. I can't rotate barely anything. Pictures, YouTube...  what do I do?  How do I get it back??

None of the things I googled helped me locate it either. I've never seen this before on any of my phones. I've had this phone less than a year.

I still can't find it. Update on 11/6/25 has removed everything to do with screen rotation, portrait, the lot. Nothing on the quick drop down at all. ***** so unnecessary to do this kind of thing.

Hello all,

Can you back up your phone info/files/pics/etc. and just wipe your phone back to factory reset? But you need to wipe EVERYTHING so that it doesn't "know" you or any of your data. I believe that if you can get it back to factory reset, all the widgets will be available on the phone and you can get the auto rotate widget back in the pull down. Also, have you looked in your settings for "appearance"? I believe you can access your auto rotate function in there. I apologize that I can't give you step by step instructions because I don't have a Samsung phone anymore -just a tablet. I'll take a look my table and see if there's anything more I can add that would be useful.

Wow! Do I ever feel like an *****! I didn't see the '✓Solved' stamp before posting! I didn't realize that your phone differentiates between portrait and auto rotate. Well, at least you have an answer now! Take care all!
