Hi, I have a Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G mobile and recently got an update to One UI 5.1. Ever since the update, I haven’t been able to connect to my mobile network. Everything was working before the update. I have tried a number of things to get it working including another SIM card, resetting the network settings, wiping the device partition cache and factory resetting the phone. None of these fixed the issue. I know the issue is with the phone update and not the SIM as the the SIM works in other phones. Is there any other fix or workaround available ? Is anyone else having the same issue ?

Unfortunately, it's not. There might be a way around the block, but it's definitely near expert/developer level. Because of that, I can't, in good conscience, post information like that as a recommendation.

I have no idea how brentw1 has gotten it to work... If that's accurate.

"Samsung has removed the band selection screen from public access in their firmware June 1 2022 security patch. That means the Samsung Band Selection app "Launch band selection" will no longer work on devices with this firmware version or newer."

I have the same issue with my Note 20 Ultra 5G. I was directed to go to Samsung store by 3G network provider to check it up by Samsung engineer. So, I am going to go there on Sunday 26th My 2024. Though I don't know what is going to be the outcome of my visit.

No, samsung knows of the problem but all the phones are out of warranty.  I bought a new phone and kept the note 20 as a backup. It will do 4g fine if this one dies till I replace the current phone
