I'm using Galaxy A71. I can't find where to TURN OFF vibration for notifications
13-05-2021 08:35 PM
There is no OFF option on my a71.
I'd expect a phone costing more than £300 to have this basic facility

Same problem. Have a F62, Android 11, OneUI3.1
No option anywhere to turn off the vibration, even if I put the vibrate intensity to '0' - nothing happens. Extremely frustrating. 😐

I have an A52 5G and had the same problem. After much digging I didn't find any generic control over notifications vibration, which is a shame.
But I did find a boring way to do it. You have to do it for every app individually. Irritating, but there aren't that many apps that keep sending notifications. In my case it was just WhatsApp and Gmail.
So for each I had to go to SETTINGS > APPS and scroll down to find the app and click on it.
Then you see NOTIFICATIONS allowed. Clicking there opens a new window, with several categories of notifications. You have to click on each one and there, finally, it's a slider control to set the VIBRATE option on or off!
On WhatsApp, as an example, you have to click on Group Notifications and Message Notifications. Those seem to be the only ones that were set ON by default on my phone.
I did say it was a boring solution, right? But it's the only one I got.
