Access Broken Screen Samsung Galaxy A50

Hi all,

My A50 screen recently broke, I cannot use it or see anything on it, completely black. The phone still works, just the screen. I need to extract the data from internal storage on it however USB debugging means that the phone isn't coming up when connected to laptop.

I have tried android data extraction programmes however none of them seem to have A50 model as an option.

I have a HDMI USB adaptor to try and mirror phone to laptop however that doesn't seem to work. Can anyone help please?

Unlock with Find My Mobile and then you should be able to access your data.

Thanks for the help, but I cannot see a backup data option on find my mobile.

Find My Mobile is to unlock the phone to allow your PC to see it. Make sure you have Samsung USB drivers installed or you could use Smart Switch for PC to backup your data.

Thankyou, although it says that remote unlock is off, how can I change this?

Why you should always have it all updated to the cloud, and the Google drive app at the same time.

Only on your phone. You might just need to bite the bullet and buy a new screen and all the tools you will need to change the screen.

Most of my data is but it's stuff on internal storage which I haven't backed up

If you can turn on USB debugging you can pull the data off the phone.
