Themes not changing message screen

Hi when I changed my theme,I do it frequently,the message screen still doesn't change and stays as standard light/dark mode. Samsung a34. Also when is the next software update? UK

some theme you need to put it in light mode to work.
so try put it in light mode not dark mode see if that work for your theme

put it in light mode then restart your phone then chose your theme, see it work, sometime you need to restart your phone again after you change to you chosen theme

Hi again unfortunately it didn't work 🙃 😕 no idea why not. Hopefully when we get the next update it will sort itself out.
