Hello,

Since aproximately a month it has appeared another app in my list of applications in order to browse my files "Archivos". Since I bought this SA13 I have been using "Mis archivos". Now I have two and I don't know why. I can deactivate "Archivos" but I can't do the same action for "Mis archivos". I tried deactivating the first one and I had issues importing files e.g. voice input file in Futo keyboard.

Also, another strange thing have been occurring since a long time ago: when I access to Mis Archivos a message alert displays in the screen that says that the content has been copied. I checked the permissions but I haven't find what is happening. Can you help me, please?

Thanks,

You see two apps because they are different:

Mis archivos is Samsung's system file manager, that's why it cannot be disabled.

Archivos is Google's app (Files by Google). Some apps depend on it to import/open files. That's why, when you disable it, you had problems with the Futo keyboard. It's best to keep both active - they don't take much space and the system uses them for different purposes.

About the message "el contenido se ha copiado" when you open Mis archivos - it doesn't mean someone is stealing your files. It's usually:

a system clipboard notification,

or just a small bug in Samsung's app.

If you want to check:

1. Go to Settings > Apps > Mis Archivos > Permissions and confirm it only uses Storage (and maybe Network).

2.

Check Settings > Privacy > Clipboard access to see if any suspicious app has clipboard rights.

3. You can also clear cache/data of "Mis archivos" to test if the message goes away.

So don't worry - it's not a virus or data theft. The safest option is to keep both apps and just ignore that message since it's a system thing.

Thank you for all the detailed explanation. I already check the logo for Google's app Archivos but it doesn't look the same.

I went to Settings > Apps > Mis Archivos > Permissions and it seems only has permission for notifications.

1000017470.pngtried clearing cache and data, reinstalling the app but the issue persists. However, I feel safer now with your comments.

This alert appears from time to time. I will pay attention and will upload it when I have the opportunity.
