Internet Explorer recognizes A34, but says file is empty, never happened before! I have seen another post like this one online posted in the past few days, what is going on? All the advice given online is not relevant, as this feature always worked! Please help................................... I did update drivers on my computer, but I think that I did download photos since? And someone else has the same problem....

Hi @FranciscaR  ,  So your phone is recognised on your PC  but you cannot view files/photos. Ensure the USB is set to Transfering files rather than just charging.  if you have the latest drivers should have a prompt when you connect. Some information here  https://www.samsung.com/hk_en/support/mobile-devices/what-to-do-if-your-samsung-galaxy-phone-folder-...  could also check that Smart Switch is up to date.

However you may need to set  a default via Developer Options? Developer Options-Default USB Configuration, Transferring Files.
If Developer options not set up Go to Settings-About Phone and tap Build Number 7 times. Will need to enter password ,Pin or Pattern at this point. See more details here: https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-turn-on-the-developer-options-menu-on-my-....

However you may need to   reset the USB port of your phone. To do this, go to Applications and  Activate "Show system applications"  by tapping the 3 lines to the right of Your Apps, select ok.

Find the USB settings app and in storage, delete the cache and data. Restart the device and see if that makes a difference.
